Are you living the life that you desire?

Change your thoughts, change your life. Peter Baksa spent the last decade researching the writings of the Tau Te Ching, the Koran, the Bible, and other historic texts. There are no accidents and what we often see as our reality is in fact, an illusion. No matter what your life situation is, you can harness the natural laws of the universe; as indicated by the scientific research of Steven Hawking, Albert Einstein, and Max Plank, to manifest your desires.

The Point of Power weaves a fabric of these theories, into a message that will change your life forever. The author provides a step by step process to gaining access to the same forces that create worlds.

INTEND - Set an intention think positive thoughts,
DECLARE - State a plan, align your behaviors,
DETACH - Allow the universe to do its thing.

Life is a series of contracts the Ego makes with itself, Reality the shadow these contracts put upon our souls.

Just as a businessman makes a contract with other businessmen, so to does your ego make contracts.  These contracts begin when you are a child as young as 3-4 years old.   Contracts that you unknowingly enter into with your parents, friends, teachers, employers, and the mass media.  Contracts that make you poor, sad, and unhealthy if they are kept.

We all know about emotional baggage, the stains upon our inner selves and the weights around our ankles that  that keep us from being what we could be, but have you ever wondered how it got there?  Much less how to remove it?  My Grandmother used to tell me as a child that the most expensive thing I can have in my life is my Ego.  It tells us how much time and effort to spend in getting others to approve of us, how much money to waste on our self-image.  Parents, teachers, peers, employers, it doesn't matter; they all impose a contract upon us which the Ego agrees to, a contract which it makes with itself.  I myself am guilty of this; early on I began to tally the actual costs that I was accruing while draining any physical, emotional, and financial bank accounts in maintaining these relationships and belief systems that were thrust upon me during my childhood and development, or what I would call my domestication period.

Everyone goes through a domestication period, a time where others tell you what you should eat, act like, want, not want. Much like teaching a puppy not to pee on the living room carpet, we are taught a very similar set of rules and asked to accept thousands of implicit contracts that make up our belief system.  This is our domestication period, a period that ends when we decide that it has ended.  Just as we also decide whether we will continue to live by the beliefs that have been bestowed upon us, beliefs that allow us to behave in an acceptable fashion by those around us.

About Peter Baksa

Peter Baksa is the author of The Point of Power and It’s none of my business what you think about me. Peter has advanced degrees in from a big ten University and did research and study in the schools of Architecture, Finance, Law. He sat on the board of a tiny bank that for grew from a 15 million dollar miniscule small town bank into a multi-state 3 billion dollar juggernaut, and as the youngest Director of the board of a local Illinois symphony, once elected to the position of president took it from near bankruptcy to selling out concerts. Not bad for someone that started out with nothing more than his ambition and $600.00 in cash at the age of 17 and working it into 50 plus million dollar institution by the age of 37. He has seen “poor”- working through scholarships, odd jobs for the University, writing and playing original songs with his band- and has also dragged himself over to the brighter side of life, closing his first real estate deal in time to pay off his student loans as well as provide seed money for his company.

No stranger to hard work, during his 20s he designed and built nearly 150 small space designs, waterfalls, ponds and other water features, using his profits to fund his tuition and to start his real estate company. Now, when he’s not working on his books or being a professional speaker, he still finds time to help out with such charities as The Make a Wish Foundation, The Starlight Foundation, and Broward’s Children Center, raising money and creating interest in these organizations through events that he created and successfully initiated. The Illinois Preservation and Conservation Association awarded him the Community Commitment Heritage Award for his efforts to preserve Illinois architectural history through his company’s historic preservation projects. Peter since his college graduation and while in attendance he volunteered as a reader for orphaned children via his alumni association membership, and has been involved with an Illinois homeless shelter as a volunteer food server and organizer. In his early years Peter studied Chess and was a champion in his early teens. He began painting in oil while studying under a Master Painter in Toronto Canada at age 8, and by the age of 24 had completed over 200 oils acrylic paintings, charcoal drawings, and water colors. Peter was always active in sports, pitching in the little league, working as a life guard at the local YMCA, competing in football, soccer, volleyball and most all field events in the sport of Track and Field starting in Junior High through his post graduate years. He stopped working a 50 hour week nearly 12 years ago to do research for the books that are now available to the public.

As a professional speaker, he speaks on the following topics:

  • “Lifestyle Design” in which he draws on the inspirational thoughts of Albert Einstein, Carl Jung, Max Plank, Buddha, and others to illustrate how one’s thoughts can manifest life's course (offered to business leaders, persons studying spirituality, companies seeking a motivational speaker, new graduates, and new retirees)
  • Choose Your Problems (or They Will Choose You) - which centers on the point that a life without “problems” does not exist. Instead, what exists is choice (offered to business leaders, entrepreneurship and new business start-ups, persons exploring spirituality, and groups seeking motivational presentations)
  • My Grandmother's 16-26-66 Secret recipe (and the Reason that It's None of My Business What You Think of Me) in which the consciousness and perspectives of a 16 yr old, 26 yr old and a 66 yr old are compared, and the wisdom of the 66-year old is recommended at any age (for new graduates of college and graduate school, starting entrepreneurs, and the general public)
  • Don't Work Harder, Work Smarter - because working harder only leads to high stress and longer work-hours as success moves farther ahead; instead each one needs to work smarter, which is detailed in the talk (for business leaders and managers, entrepreneurship, students of spirituality, companies seeking motivation, and groups working on team building)
  • Four Rates of Return in Real Estate - which advocates that we need to change the way one looks at money; when money seems to flow away from you, this new perspective change will help it begin to flow toward you.
