Bookmasters Appoints Larry Bennett President of Bookmasters International Division
ASHLAND, OHIO—May 11, 2011—Bookmasters , a leading book manufacturer, distributor and provider of eBook services, has appointed Larry Bennett as President of its international division. Bennett will focus on growing the company’s foreign-language book development and distribution efforts in the United States and abroad.
“Larry has a track record of success in the international arena, a wealth of industry knowledge and extensive contacts in digital printing, a key growth area for Bookmasters,” says David Wurster, CEO. “I am delighted to welcome Larry to our organization and anticipate new opportunities with foreign-language international distribution, print and eBook client publishers.”
Bennett comes to Bookmasters with more than 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. Most recently, he was a vice president at Baker & Taylor, managing its digital print media program. In the past, he was CEO of several start-up companies, one of which was sold to Baker & Taylor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
