authors are most familiar with their manuscripts, they often are not
familiar with preparing an index. BookMasters offers expert, professional indexing services integrated with
editing and production.
Known for our state-of-the-art technology, we create our indexes electronically using embedded codes. Computers play an important role in
making the indexing process more efficient and allows us to
fuse the index more effectively with production; however, to
achieve the most accurate index, we still believe it takes a
keen, watchful mind. Our indexers compile the index with the
book’s audience in mind to make it as functional and
user-friendly as possible.
When
an index creation is requested, we evaluate each project on
the complexity of material, density of items per page, and the
level of index requested. Each index is custom tailored for
each book.
